Musk says he wants to get SpaceX IPO underway 'pretty soon'

Elon Musk has indicated his intention to pursue an initial public offering (IPO) for his aerospace company, SpaceX, stating that the process needs to get underway "pretty soon."

Musk made these remarks during a virtual appearance at the Samson International Smart Mobility Summit in Tel Aviv. He also noted that he is currently in Texas, actively working on plans for the potential listing.

"We've got to get the SpaceX IPO going pretty soon," Musk said, according to Bloomberg.

SpaceX is reportedly preparing for what could become the largest listing of all time.

Sources familiar with the matter suggest that SpaceX could file for an IPO as early as this week, Bloomberg reported. Inshorts also reported a similar timeline for a potential filing.
